The season opens on Friday, Oct. 26, with the tolling of "The Bells of Notre Dame." Based on the Victor Hugo novel, "The Hunchback of Notre Dame: The Musical" tells the story of two outcasts: the misshapen bell-ringer Quasimodo and the free-spirited gypsy Esmeralda. Vying for Esmeralda's attention are the handsome Captain Phoebus and the cruel and conflicted archdeacon Dom Claude Frollo. The musical showcases the Disney film’s Academy Award-nominated score, with new songs by Alan Menken and Steven Schwartz.
