ACTON, MA—Stacy K. Swendsen, 56, died Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the Westford House-Genesis Rehabilitation Center in Westford. Stacy is survived by her daughter, Alexa N. Swendsen; her father David H. Swendsen; a brother Eric Swendsen and his wife Amanda; a nephew Andrew Swendsen; and nieces Emma and Kathryn "Katy" Swendsen.
She was the daughter of the late Jacqueline N. Swendsen.Born in Duluth, Minnesota, she also resided in Wisconsin before moving to Acton, MA following her graduation from high school in 1978. She was employed as a hairdresser in local salons and barber shops. A talented artist, Stacy enjoyed sketching and drawing, and also worked with paints. She especially loved making jewelry.
