Will You Fly Out of Worcester Instead of Boston?
Does the JetBlue announcement change your airport of choice?
Will your airport of choice chang to Worcester Regional Airport with the recent news of a low-cost airline coming to town?Â
On April 3, JetBlue announced it would begin on Nov. 7 flying into Worcester, which was last used for commercial flights in March 2012. JetBlue had been in discussions since August with federal and state officials, working to bring the airline to the city.Â
Patch is wondering if the JetBlue news will make you think twice about flying out of Logan Airport, or the Manchester or Hartford airports, in favor of Worcester. Does the driving distance attract your attention? How about not having to chance Boston traffic, or pay the high cost of parking?

Flyers can park at Worcester Regional Airport for $7 a day, or $42 for the week, according to the Massport website. Meanwhile, parking at Logan is around $27 a day for central lots, or around $18 per day for economy parking, according to Massport.
Tell us in the comments if you'll consider opting for Worcester Regional Airport instead of another airport in the fall.Â
