Windsor Green Under New Ownership

The luxury complex has a new name.

Allston-based real estate firm Hamilton Company announced this week that has purchased Windsor Green, a 193-unit luxury apartment complex on Lowell Street in Andover, for $62.5 million.

The complex will now be called Hamilton Green.

“With this purchase, and several others slated for August, we will have acquired nearly $130m of real estate for 2013.” stated Carl Valeri, President & COO of The Hamilton Company.

Assessed at $28.5 million, Windsor Green was built as part of a 40B development in 2006 by General Investment & Development, according to Boston Business Journal. The complex offers apartments of various sizes and rents starting at $1,600.

This is The Hamilton Company's first real estate purchase in Andover. Hamilton has been in business for 59 years and owns more than 5,000 residential and commercial units in the Greater Boston area.
