Almost $30K Found In Trunk Of Arlington Man Driving With Suspended License

The lesson we can all learn from the allegations Somerville Police have made against Bryan Saintilus, 28, of Arlington, is it’s always best to make sure your license and registration is up to date, if only for the sake of peace of mind.

For instance, if you’re driving around with almost $30,000 in cash in your trunk, and your license isn’t suspended, you can feel assured that the police won’t have any reason to pull you over.

According to Somerville Police, on June 12, at around 6:50 p.m., officers observed a gray Chrysler 300 idling at the bus stop by Mystic Avenue and Wheatland Street.

Police already knew the vehicle’s owner - Saintilus - and knew that his license had been suspended. Police watched as Saintilus got into his car, and drove to the Century Bank on Fellsway.

It was there police pulled him over and nailed him for allegedly driving with a suspended license, which he immediately admitted to, say police.

While being arrested, Saintilus also told the cops that he had $29,256 cash in a bag in his trunk, which he wanted brought with him to the station. Said bag was handed over to the narcotics unit upon his arrival, say police.
