Arlington 10-Year-Old Honored For Reporting House Fire
Mason Conway alerted his parents and knocked on his neighbors' door to tell them to evacuate when he spotted a fire on their porch.

ARLINGTON, MA — A 10-year-old from Arlington was honored Friday for his quick thinking after a fire broke out on his neighbors' porch.
Mason Conway received awards from the police and fire departments, as well as the Select Board.
The fire happened in East Arlington March 5. Fire Chief Kevin Kelley told Patch partner YourArlington that Conway spotted the fire and alerted his parents to call 911.
