Arlington Cop Honored For Lifesaving Heroism
Officer Brandon Wenz pulled an elderly resident to safety after a tree fell into a house Sept. 30.

ARLINGTON, MA — An Arlington police officer was recognized for his lifesaving efforts last month. Officer Brandon Wenz received a Life Saving Ribbon & Commendation for his actions Sept. 30.
Wenz responded to a report of a tree into a house, with an elderly resident inside. He forced his way into the home and carried the resident to safety as the house was cracking.
"Thanks to your efforts, the victim survived the incident," the Arlington Police Department said in a statement. "We recognize your outstanding performance and dedication to duty. Congratulations on a job well done!"
