ARLINGTON, MA — An Arlington man was among 10 activists arrested after hanging a banner reading "Climate Justice Now" on the Citgo sign Monday, police said. Officers were called to the construction site at 660 Beacon St. shortly after 8 p.m. and found the group near the base of the sign, police said.

"This premise is clearly labeled as an active construction site, and it is surrounded by a wire construction fence," Boston police said in a statement.

The banner hung for about 20 minutes before police took it down. Officers requested additional assistance to help the group descend from the roof safely.
