Arlington Residents Notified Of Level 3 Sex Offender

ARLINGTON, MA — Arlington police notified residents of a Level 3 sex offender living in town. Michael Clark, 65, was convicted of one count of kidnapping of a child and two counts of rape in 1980.

Clark lives on Grove Street.

"This notice is made available to you to increase community awareness," Arlington police said in a statement. "You may share or distribute this flyer so long as the intent is not to harass, intimidate, or otherwise engage in unlawful activity aimed at the sex offender."

The state classifies convicted sex offenders into three categories based on their risk of re-offending. Level 3 offenders have the highest risk of re-offending, police said.

There were five other Level 3 sex offenders living or working in Arlington as of October.
