Arlington Seeks To Assemble a Housing Advisory Committee

Want to volunteer to improve housing conditions in Arlington?

Arlington residents who like the idea of playing a part in their town’s future have an opportunity to do so.

On Thursday, the town announced that it is accepting applications for volunteers to the Housing Advisory Committee. Should applicants be accepted, they’ll have to attend one or two meetings a year, and discuss existing housing conditions and needs while setting goals and strategies for improvement.

The town is casting a pretty broad net when it comes to what kind of individuals they have in mind. Housing expertise is on their list of potential qualifications, but so is having a child in Arlington Public Schools.
