Arlington Sets Outdoor, Online EcoWeek Schedule
The annual celebration raises awareness and inspires action on behalf of the planet.
ARLINGTON, MA — Arlington's annual EcoWeek, a celebration raising awareness and inspiring action on behalf of the planet, will be held May 5-15. Join the town for outdoor and online events and activities open to all ages.
There will be projects for residents to do on their own, such as Citizen Science data gathering and a chance to submit a video clip about using renewable, and human, energy. All events are free, accessible, and will follow COVID safety guidelines, so pre-registration is required.
Arlington EcoWeek will spotlight local public art projects, as well as initiatives led by student green teams and community groups. Come learn about diversity and inclusion in the outdoors, native pollinator gardens, and the ecological threat of plastic pollution. Residents will gain tips for greening their home's electricity, reducing single use plastics, and advocating for climate change legislation.
