Large Housing Development Proposed In Arlington Heights
A proposal of up to 140 apartments, a quarter of which would be affordable, was unveiled at the Select Board meeting Monday.
ARLINGTON, MA — An ambitious housing proposal in Arlington Heights was unveiled at Monday's Select Board meeting. The project would build up to 140 apartments, a quarter of which would be affordable, behind the Mirak car dealerships, YourArlington reported.
The Mirak family would be the sole owners of the property. Mary Winstanley O'Connor, an attorney for the proposal, said it has been designed to align with the 2015 master plan and include access for multiple modes of transportation.
The Select Board plans to send a letter of support to MassHousing within the next month, YourArlington reported.
