- Three-Car Crash, Massachusetts Avenue, 9:36 p.m.
Depending on who you believe, the driver of a Toyota going eastbound on Massachusetts Avenue either wasn’t as careful as he needed to be when switching lanes and crashed into an Audi, then subsequently crashed into the rear bumper of a Lexis, or he had to abruptly swerve to avoid crashing into a vehicle that had stopped without warning in front of him.
Police say damage to the vehicles involved supports their “didn’t check before switching lanes” theory.
