New Arlington Recycling Center Launches Saturday

The monthly recycling bonanza at the DPW Yard will specialize in environmentally-friendly disposal of plastic and foam packaging.

On the morning of Saturday, June 20, Arlington Public Works shall launch a new monthly Recycling Center at the 51 Grove St. DPW Yard.

From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., residents can do away with rigid plastic and foam packaging without worrying about such materials taking up space in a landfill. Furthermore, old books can be dropped off for donation to nonprofits.

The Arlington DPW notes that this particular recycling center will take place one Saturday each month, and does not replace or alter any of its current recycling rules or services.
