Arlington Police Log: Random Assault At The Beach, Annihilated Car Window
The following information comes from the Arlington Police Department.

Police Log: Tuesday, June 9
- False Fire Alarm, 11:40 a.m., Acton Street
An unknown individual pulled the fire alarm at a school, even though a quick investigation of the premises determined that no such fire had occurred.
- Yet another fire alarm pulled, 12:53 p.m., Hillside Avenue
In a seemingly unrelated though remarkably coincidental situation, another fire alarm was also pulled falsely at a different school. The individual responsible is said to have pulled the alarm while struggling with staff, and has been charged accordingly for the false alarm.

- Hit and Run, 3:58 p.m., 730 Mass. Ave/Town Hall
A woman says that while traveling east on Massachusetts Avenue, a pick up truck in the opposite lane turned left and hit her bumper. She proceeded to follow the truck, and wrote down its license plate number when it arrived in a parking lot.
Police contacted the truck’s owner, who said he rarely drives on Massachusetts Avenue, and wonders if the reporting party has the wrong person/vehicle.

- Resident Sick of His Neighbor’s Noise Complaints, Pleasant Street, 4:28 p.m.
A gentleman arrived at the police station to say his neighbor won’t stop harassing him about the noise levels in his apartment, even though he makes a point to keep his noise at reasonable levels at all times. The landlord had been alerted to the situation, but had yet to take any action. Police advised the individual to try talking to the landlord again if the situation continues.
- Apparently Random Assault, 10:04 p.m., Reservoir Beach/220 Lowell St.
An alleged victim said that while walking home after a fun night of fishing with friends, he was jumped out of the blue by another individual. Wrestling on the ground ensued, according to the report. Following the wrestling, the reporting party said his attacker ran away. The assaulted individual, who declined medical attention, resumed heading home and called police. His alleged attacker was not found.
- Car Window Annihilated, 10:33 p.m., Maple Street
A woman told police that she went to a class at 6:30 p.m., and returned to her parked car at 10:30 p.m. to discover one of her passenger windows had been utterly smashed to bits.
Police couldn’t find an object nearby that could’ve been used to do the damage, and it appeared no attempt had been made to enter the car.
