Traffic Light, Improvements Coming To Bikeway Intersection

ARLINGTON, MA — The town will install a traffic signal and make multi-modal improvements to the intersection of Lake Street and the Minuteman Bikeway. The traffic light at Brooks Avenue will also be updated.

Work is expected to start the week of June 29 and continue through the end of August. The goal is to maintain bike path and roadway use throughout the project, though temporary detours may be required, the town said.

The Lake Street/Bikeway Intersection Design Review Committee oversaw the project, which included input from the public. Additional project information may be found on the Committee website.
