2 Attleboro Police Officers Sent to Marathon Crime Scene

Detective Kevin Fuoco and Sgt. Brett Poirier are part of the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council, which includes officers from various area law enforcement agencies.

Two members of the Attleboro Police Department are part of the law enforcement response to the bombings at the Boston Marathon. Detective Kevin Fuoco and Sgt. Brett Poirier were called to the scene Monday shortly after the bombs went off at 2:50 p.m., Attleboro Detective Sgt. Arthur Brillon said. 

Fuoco and Poirier are part of the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council, which includes officers from various area law enforcement agencies. Brillon said he had not heard what exactly the two were doing, and they were still working with MetroLEC as of Tuesday morning.
