Attleboro Man Arrested for Alleged Possession of Stolen Car
The arrest took place in New Bedford.

Keith Beland, a 22-year-old Attleboro resident, was one of two men arrested Saturday in New Bedford after local police said they were seen in a vehicle involved in a May 1 Fall River carjacking, the New England Business Bulletin reported. Also arrested was Curtis Cruz, 33, of New Bedford.
The Bulletin reported:
Detective Capt. Steven Vicente, head of the New Bedford Police Department's Major Crimes Unit, said police do not believe either man was involved in the actual carjacking.

Detectives Jonathan Lagoa and Evan Bielski of the Organized Crime and Intelligence Bureau saw the car in the parking lot at the 7-Eleven convenience store, Acushnet and Coffin avenues, about 1 p.m. Saturday and took the two occupants into custody.Â
