ATTLEBORO, MA — Attleboro's annual Memorial Day Parade is Monday.
The parade kicks off at 10 a.m. on North Main Street. It then proceeds to Mechanics Street, County Street, and ends at Capron Park.

Memorial Day Parade, 10 a.m.
The City of Attleboro’s Memorial Day Parade will step off from the corner of Watson Avenue and Hodges Street near the Willett Elementary School. The parade route includes Mechanic Street, North Main Street, and County Street, and will end at Capron Park. Residents along the route are encouraged to enhance the Memorial Day tribute by displaying American Flags and other patriotic gestures.
The parade’s Grand Marshall will be Norman Belmarce, a World War II veteran who saw combat with the Merchant Marines. New this year in the parade will be the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps, led by LTJG Matthew Roias. The parade will also include crowd favorites such as the Yankee Fife and Drum Corps, Le Regiment Bourbonnais, the Rehoboth Minutemen, and Colonel Bailey’s 2nd Massachusetts Regiment. The Memorial Day parade features strong support and involvement by many organizations from the local community, and will have performances by both the Attleboro High School and Bishop Feehan High School marching bands.
Memorial Day ceremony, 11:30 a.m.
The City of Attleboro will hold its annual Memorial Day Observance Ceremony at Capron Park immediately following the parade. The Master of Ceremonies will be retired Air Force Colonel and sitting Municipal Councilor-at-Large Julie Hall. The ceremony will include messages from Mayor Kevin Dumas and other elected officials, as well as the District 9 Commander of the American Legion, Anthony Dias. The ceremony will also feature a performance by the Coastline Show Chorus, a reading of the veterans from Attleboro who have passed away since Memorial Day 2015, and a traditional gun salute and the playing of Taps.
