ATTLEBORO – Velma L. Pignatelli, 99, of Park Street, passed away on Jan. 1, 2014 in the Sturdy Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Frank Pignatelli.
Born Oct. 27, 1914 in Acushnet, MA, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Elizabeth Enos.
Velma was a graduate of Acushnet High School and was employed as a registered nurse for several years before her retirement.
She enjoyed drinking tea but most of all she loved spending time with all of her grandchildren.
Velma is survived by a daughter, Louise Lounsberry of Attleboro; five grandchildren, Tommy Bannister Sr., Jo-Ann Nephew and Robin Diggin all of Attleboro, Jimmy Lounsberry of North Attleboro and Cliff Lounsberry of Pawtucket, RI; eleven great grandchildren, Carissa, Tommy Jr., Christina, Jordon, Jimmy, Julie, Adiadan, Cliff, Olivia, Connor and Emily; and one great-great grandchild, Ryleigh.
