City Council Meets Tonight

1. The Attleboro City Council will meet in committee sessions beginning at 7 p.m. at City Hall. Go here to see the agenda.

2. Sturdy Memorial Hospital's Breathing Club, a support group for people with pulmonary ailments, will meet from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the hospital's auditorium. For more information on the free group, call 508-236-7550. 

3. Attleboro Youth Baseball needs sponsors for the spring season and summer tournaments. The sponsorship cost for the spring season is $150. The price has not been determined for the tournaments. Those who are interested should email Jenn Scott at Jennipher6410@aol.com.

5. The National Weather Service says there is a chance of sleet before 8 a.m., then a slight chance (30 percent) of rain during the remainder of the day. Otherwise, the forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high near 47. At night, it is expected to be mostly clear with a low near 29.
