Man Suffering From Injuries Following Shooting In Attleboro

The incident took place at approximately 10 p.m. Monday night near the Mutual Gas station on Emory Street.

ATTLEBORO, MA — A man is suffering from injuries following a Monday night shooting in Attleboro, reported NBC 10 WJAR.

Police say the incident took place at approximately 10 p.m. near the Mutual Gas station on Emory Street, after which the man walked into the Attleboro Police Department lobby with a gunshot wound to his arm and an entry would in the middle of his inner right bicep. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

Investigators say the man did not say how he was shot but did disclose that he knew the person who shot him. This is currently not believed to be an act of violence, according to police.
