North Attleboro Candidates To Meet On Cable TV Forum Monday Night
On Monday night North TV will be hosting 2 forums for candidates to meet for the upcoming town election on April 6th.
NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA — On Monday night, the forums will be held in the cafeteria of the North Attleboro Middle School but spectators will not be allowed to attend due to COVID-19 restrictions.
There are three candidates competing for two positions on the board of electric commissioners and they will be featured in the first forum. The other nine of twelve candidates running for the town council seats will be in the second forum.
The forums can be watched from cablecast live on North TV's Community Channel (Comcast Channel 15 and Verizon Channel 24) and it will also be live-streamed on northtv.net.

The moderator will be North TV's Executive Director Peter Gay. Craig Cameron, William Carlson, and incumbent John Casey, the Electric commission candidates, will be answering questions from The Sun Chronicle columnist Bill Gouveia and Max Bowen who is the NorthStar Reporter editor. The event will start at 6:45 P.M.
The council incumbents include Jo Ann Cathcart, Justine Pare, Andrew Shanahan, John Simmons, and challengers Andrea Slobogan, John Donohue Jr., Daniel Donovan, Mark Gould Jr., and Patrick Reynolds. This has been confirmed and they will take part in the second forum at 7:30 P.M.

Incumbents Kathleen Prescott and Darius Gregory will not be able to attend, on the other hand, incumbent Julie Boyce did not respond to multiple requests to participate according to Peter Gay.
