North Attleboro Sears Closing After 32 Years

The store at the Emerald Square Mall will stop accepting returns on Feb. 18 and will close for good by April.

NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA — The Sears location in the Emerald Square Mall in North Attleboro is among at least 12 locations across the U.S. the bankrupt company plans to close this year. The store has been at the mall since 1989.

The Sears in Emerald Square Mall had a limited selection of items available and lost revenue because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Workers at this select Sears location have confirmed that the store will be closing and that they will not be accepting any returns of items purchased after February 18th.
