Stephen B. Weidner of Eddy Street in Attleboro died April 24 at his home. He was 58.
He was born in Concord to Patricia Goddard and Thomas Weidner.

Weidner lived in Attleboro for more than 25 years, coming from Plymouth. He was a U.S. Army Veteran involved in veterans' activities. He was a member of the American Legion Post 20 and the VFW Gilbert Perry Post 115 of Attleboro.
At the VFW Post, Weidner was on the committee for the POW/MIA. He was also on the membership committee and on the Honor Guard/Rifle Squad.

Weidner is survived by his mother; son Brad Weidner; daughter Lana Weidner; brothers James "Jimmy" Weidner and Charles "Chip" Goddard; sisters Cheryl Cole and Leah Goddard; grandchildren Brian, Adrian, Leah and Haidan as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his girlfriend of many years Sharon Klopf and her children Richard and his wife Renee Klopf and son Ronnie West as well West's son Jordan West, son Jared Klopf and a granddaughter Savannah, and a grandson Braedan, daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Kimberly and her husband Robert Chace and their children Samantha, Theodore, Jamie and Justin, daughter Yvette Klopf and her son Christo.
A graveside service will take place Friday, May 10 at 10 a.m. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.Â
