Overnight Chill Could Be Repeated in Attleboro

The late night/early morning temperature is expected to drop to the high 30s.

We are deep into spring, but you can't expect every day and night to be beautiful and warm. This is New England. The local overnight temperature dropped to the mid-30s and Attleboro as well as other towns and cities in the area are under a frost advisory until 8 a.m.

The unfavorable weather is expected to return when the sun goes down, with the National Weather Service calling for a nighttime/early morning low of 39. Another frost advisory is possible.

The daytime weather should be more reasonable, with the NWS predicting sunny skies and a high of 60. Here is look ahead at the forecast for the next few days:

Wednesday daytime: Increasing clouds with a high near 69 and a light west wind becoming south traveling 9 mph to 14 mph (gusts up to 26 mph) in the morning. There is a 30 percent chance of rain, mainly after 2 p.m.

Wednesday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 52 and a south wind traveling 5 mph to 10 mph (gusts up to 37 mph) becoming light after midnight. There is a 60 percent chance of rain, mainly between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Thursday nighttime: Mostly clear with a low around 50

Friday daytime: Sunny with a high near 75
