Patriots Day: Mark Walhberg Film Seeks Extras

"Patriots Day," Mark Wahlberg's new film, needs Boston-area extras for filming later this month.

ALLSTON, MA—Have you ever wanted to appear as an extra in a major film? How about one featuring one of the area's brightest stars?

Patriots Day, starring Dorchester native Mark Wahlberg, is seeking extras. Boston Casting will be holding an open call on Sunday, Mar. 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 129 Braintree Street in Allston.

The film is aiming to re-create the Boston Marathon Bombings, as well as the response from authorities.

The film is seeking general extras over the age of 18, Police and SWAT team officers, Firefighters, Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics and Marathon Runners.

The job shoots from Mar. 29-May 31. Attendees are asked to bring a photo of themselves.
