Pawtucket Man Killed In Crash On I-95 In Attleboro
Police say a 19-year-old driver died after crashing into the rear of a tractor trailer early Thursday morning.
ATTLEBORO, MA — Massachusetts State Police are investigating a fatal crash that took place on I-95 southbound in Attleboro early Thursday morning.
Police say the crash took place at approximately 3 a.m. south of Exit 6 and involved a 2010 Hyundai Accent and tractor trailer.
An initial investigation revealed that the Hyundai crashed into the rear of the tractor trailer. The 19-year-old man driving the Hyundai was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and later pronounced dead. A 19-year-old female passenger from Brockton was also transported to Rhode Island Hospital with minor injuries.

The two left lanes of I-95 were closed for approximately four hours due to the crash.
The crash remains under investigation and no further information has been released.
