Police Investigating Shooting In Attleboro, Suspect Identified
The department said the incident was not a random act.
ATTLEBORO, MA — Police are investigating a shooting that took place on Richardson Ave. in Attleboro Thursday afternoon, reported The Sun Chronicle.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 3 p.m. for a report of gunshots, but the shooter had driven off. Police said the suspect was later identified, but his name has not been released and the motive remains unclear.
Police say at least three vehicles were involved in the incident and believe the intended victim was followed by someone in another car and shot at in his driveway after an altercation.

According to Attleboro Police Chief Kyle Heagney, the shooting was not a random act and residents should not be concerned, as all the individuals involved knew each other.
