Police Present On The Corner Of Emory & Pleasant St. Monday Night

There was a heavy police presence on the corner of Emory and Pleasant St. in Attleboro Monday Night after what was determined a shooting.

ATTLEBORO, MA — 10:30 P.M. on Monday night, police blocked off and started an investigation on the corner of Emory and Pleasant Street in Attleboro. Police did not disclose exactly what they were investigating at first but it was later found out that a man suffered injuries in a shooting.

That night the victim was shot in the arm on his inner right bicep. The victim entered the police station after he was shot but he would not cooperate and provide the specifics of what happened.

The victim admitted that he was familiar with the shooter and it occurred right by the Mutal Gas Station on Emory Street.

NBC 10 later observed the scene where officers were working Monday night. Police ended up finding shell casings from the bullets on the ground.

The investigators of the scene believe this incident was not a random act of violence. The victim was brought to Rhode Island hospital.
