Public Can Question Superintendent Finalists

Attleboro School Committee interviews of the two finalists for the superintendent post will take place this week, and next week the public will get its opportunity to ask some questions. Committee Chair Mike Tyler announced Monday the candidates will introduce themselves and take questions at Attleboro High School's mini-auditorium next Monday (Kenneth Sheehan of West Warwick) and Tuesday (Anthony Azar of New Bedford) from 4:15 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Residents will be asked to write their questions on index cards and school committee members will select a few to be asked to the finalists.

Sheehan and Azar will spend the day in Attleboro prior to the public forums, meeting with school, city and student leaders as well as touring campuses. Their schedules are attached to this article.

School committee interviews of the candidates will take place in public this week Wednesday (Azar) and Thursday (Sheehan) at 7 p.m. The committee is expected to make its selection the week of March 18.
