Senator Rausch to Host Virtual Coffee for Seniors

Seniors are invited for a coffee over Zoom to discuss life during the COVID-19 pandemic and current issues on Beacon Hill

Senator Becca Rausch will host a Virtual Coffee Hour reserved exclusively for seniors of the Bristol, Norfolk, and Middlesex District on Wednesday, October 14th from 10 to 11 AM. During this time, constituents are welcome to share their questions and opinions on state issues with the Senator and her Beacon Hill team. To comply with public health precautions during the pandemic, the virtual conversation will take place over Zoom. Seniors can join the conversation either via phone or webcam.

“This year has been a difficult year for many, particularly our seniors,” said Senator Rausch. “Hearing directly from my constituents is the best way to check on our community members during these difficult times and inform my legislative work as Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Elder Affairs.”

Since the onset of the pandemic in March, Senator Rausch has hosted weekly virtual office hours for her constituents and issued regular COVID-19 updates on her website and in her newsletter. For more information on the state response to COVID-19, visit beccarauschma.com/coronavirus.
