Severe Thunderstorm Warning Over, Storm Could Still Hit Attleboro

A quick moving storm could hit the area this afternoon.

At 3:32 p.m., the National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the area. Locations that could be impacted include Foxborough, Attleboro, Mansfield, Walpole, Sharon, Wrentham, Norfolk, Plainville, and Medfield.

The NWS says to expect 60 mph winds with penny size hail.

The warning expired at 4 p.m., but there is still a low risk for a few strong thunderstorms early this evening across the Interstate 95 corridor, according to the NWS.
