Stun Gun Dealing, Car Racing and OUI Drugs

The following information about recent local arrests and charges was supplied by the Attleboro Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

May 23

  • *8:22 a.m. John Joseph Taylor, 33, of North Attleboro was arrested at 1096 Washington St. on a warrant. He was charged with felony entering a dwelling at night.
  • 11:42 a.m. Courtney Lynn Goguen, a 19-year-old homeless woman, was arrested at an undisclosed location on suspicion of threat to commit a crime, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.

May 24

  • 11:09 a.m. Kevin Paul Lawrence, 29, of Attleboro was arrested on Mulberry Street on suspicion of operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
  • 4:05 p.m. Daniel R. Pereira, 18, of Attleboro was arrested at 227 South Ave. on a warrant. He was charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering.
  • 4:19 p.m. Adalberto Negron, 29, of Central Falls was arrested on County Street on suspicion of operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
  • 5:46 p.m. Noel I. Torres, 25, of Pawtucket was arrested at 22 School St. on a warrant as well as suspicion of violating an abuse prevention order, resisting arrest and disturbing the peace. He was charged with selling or possessing an electric stun gun.
  • 5:59 p.m. Alberto Cruz, 31, of Attleboro was arrested at 22 School St. on suspicion of witness intimidation and accessory after the fact.

  • 3:37 a.m. Thougkham Patrick Dam, 19, of Woonsocket was arrested on Forest Street on suspicion of OUI liquor and being a person under 21 in possession of liquor.

May 26

  • 12:07 p.m. Marcio A. Evora, 20, of Pawtucket was arrested at 1130 Newport Ave. on suspicion of two counts of shoplifting.
  • 6:02 p.m. Thomas J. Howe, 25, of Attleboro was arrested at 91 George St. on suspicion of three counts of assault and battery, witness intimidation and assault with a dangerous weapon.
  • 7:40 p.m. Richard T. Johnson, 32, of Attleboro was arrested at his Peck Street home on suspicion of domestic assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, misdemeanor breaking and entering and disorderly conduct.
  • 9:27 p.m. Justin A. Goff, 24, of Rehoboth was arrested at an undisclosed location on suspicion of racing a vehicle, failing to stop for police, negligent operation of a vehicle and disturbing the peace.
  • 11:02 p.m. Joseph C. Chaves, 52, of Brockton was arrested at 494 Pleasant St. on suspicion of a third offense of OUI drugs and negligent operation of a vehicle.
