Tell Us: Should Funeral Home Have Accepted Alleged Bomber's Body
The body of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev was at a North Attleboro funeral home for a few hours, but that was enough time to anger some people.

It was a media frenzy Thursday evening in nearby North Attleboro when the body of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev arrived at the Dyer-Lake funeral home. The area attracted protestors, and others took their opposition to the Internet.
Within a few hours, the body had left the area and was on its way to Worcester, where the funeral will take place.Â
Dyer-Lake defended its decision to hold the body in a statement on its website:

Some have said it was disgraceful or shameful that we transferred the body of a high-profile suspect from the Medical Examiner's office in Boston to our facility and held the body briefly.Â
We, too, are horrified and outraged by the actions that killed, maimed and injured so many innocent people. It was inexcusable.

We understand and share in the anger and disgust that surrounds such cowardly acts of terrorism.
The fact of the matter is this: We were directed by legal representatives and authorities to simply transfer the body of this individual from the Medical Examiner to our facility, and then instructed by authorities to transfer the body elsewhere.
We carried out the job we were asked to do. This is what we do as a funeral home. We did not profit from our work. This was not about money. Â
What do you think? Was it inappropriate for the funeral home to accept the body? If so, what do you think should have been done with the body? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
