Bomb Squad in Back Bay: Scene Cleared After Investigation of Suspicious Object

It seems like someone forgot their stuff in a Back Bay intersection Thursday morning.

BACK BAY, MA — A suspicious object was reported at the intersection of Boylston Street and Dalton Street and was investigated by the bomb squad, Boston Police confirmed with Patch. Crews responded to the object at around 8 a.m.

It was later confirmed by Fox 25 to be a a bag of personal belongings.

The Boylston Street and Dalton Street intersection is near the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center and the Boston Fire Department's Engine 33 and Ladder 15.

Streets around the pack were blocked off to traffic and pedestrians. No injuries were reported.
