Car Crashes Into Building In Back Bay
At least three passengers had to be rescued and sent to the hospital, Fire Department officials said.
BACK BAY, MA — A car slammed into a high end furniture store early Sunday morning on Stuart Street, trapping three passengers and shutting down Park Square as first responders arrived on scene.
Fire department technical rescue teams got the passengers out around 2:35 a.m. and Boston EMS transported them to the hospital with non life threatening injuries, according to Fire Department officials.
The driver crashed into the Show Room Collezione window on Stuart Street. Photos show the car also hit a support beam and stopped partially inside the bottom floor of an eight story building zoned for both commercial and residential.
