Mediterranean Chain Coming To Back Bay, 3 Other MA Neighborhoods
Cava, a fast-casual take on Mediterranean fare, will expand into Massachusetts next year.

BACK BAY, MA – Fast-casual Mediterranean chain Cava is expanding into Massachusetts with four locations next year, and one is headed for Back Bay, according to Eater Boston. The company, which also sells packaged foods, received $30 million this year to fund an expansion and is expected to operate close to 50 restaurants by year's end.
Cava will open locations at 667 Boylston Street in Back Bay; 1350 Boylston Street in Fenway; 680 Legacy Place in Dedham; and 98 Derby Street in Hingham, Eater reported. All are slated to open in 2018, with Fenway, Dedham and Hingham coming in January and February, followed by Back Bay later in the year.
The customizable menu has more than 50 offerings like the signature Crazy Feta, Border Springs Spicy Lamb Meatballs and Cauliflower Quinoa Tabbouleh, as well as rotating seasonal offerings of juices, soups and roasted vegetables.
