Rattlesnake Bar and Grill Closing Down: Report

Known for its rooftop seating and adventurous menu, the Boylston Street restaurant is reportedly on its way out.

BOSTON, MA — Back Bay's Rattlesnake Bar & Grill is shutting down for good, according to a report in The Boston Globe.

The Bolyston Street restaurant and bar is known for its rooftop deck and its adventurous menu, masterminded by Chef Brian Poe, of Bukowski Tavern and the Tip Tap Room. Alternatively known as Poe's Kitchen at the Rattlesnake since the chef's introduction, Rattlesnake has been at 384 Boylston Street for 26 years.

The Globe did not offer an explanation for the closure, citing only a restaurant representative.
