Shuttle Buses to Replace Select Orange Line Trains Throughout Late June, Mid-July

Notice for Orange Line riders in the upcoming weeks - shuttle buses will fill in for all trains between Wellington Station and Oak Grove during the evenings on several days starting Monday, July 22.

Specifically, shuttle buses will replace trains starting at 8:45 p.m. until closing from June 22, until July 16, excluding Fridays and Saturdays, at which times the Orange Line will run as usual.

According to a statement from the MBTA, the provisional change up is necessary to make trains more resilient during winter months.

The stations impacted will be:

Oak Grove Station

Malden Center Station

Wellington Station
