Skywalk Observatory, Boston Celtics, The Shamrock Foundation Host 'Step Your Game Up' Celebration
4th Annual end-of-the-year event honors academic achievement of students in Boston Public Schools.

HIGH PRAISE -- Top of the Hub’s Skywalk Observatory joined with The Boston Celtics and The Shamrock Foundation to host the Celtics’ 4th Annual “Step Your Game Up” end-of-the-year celebration honoring the academic achievement of students in Boston Public Schools.
With the help of City Year, the “Step Your Game Up” program challenges students struggling with tardiness, absenteeism and failing grades to change their performance via personalized letters and contracts. Two hundred local students from 10 middle schools were welcomed to the Skywalk by (above, left to right):City Year Director of School and Community Partnerships, Khoi Tau, retired Boston Celtics legendDana Barros, Celtics Center / Power Forward Tyler Zeller, “Step Your Game Up” program founder Judy Pagliuca, Top of the Hub-Skywalk General Manager Peter Papagelis and Celtics Mascot, Lucky The Leprechaun. Students were nominated by their respective schools and selected for the event based on their levels of quantitative and qualitative improvement.
This year’s event featured a carnival theme with games, music, prizes and gift bags for all the kids, who feasted on everything from sliders to ice cream sundaes, courtesy of the culinary team at Top of the Hub.
