Weekend Hours Coming Back to Boston Public Library

See when the Copley Square branch will be open on Sundays once again.

The Boston Public Library announced the restoration of weekend hours as fall approaches to their branches throughout the city.

Saturday hours will return to neighborhood branches for BPL starting Sept. 7, while Sunday hours will come back to the Central Branch at 700 Boylston St. in Back Bay starting Oct. 6.

The Sunday hours for Central Branch will be 1 to 5 p.m., except for on Sundays that precede Monday holidays.

All branch locations will be closed Monday, Sept. 2 in observance of Labor Day.
