YOUR TURN: Should the Back Bay Have Expanded Street Sweeping?

This month Beacon Hill joins the South End and North End in an expanded street sweeping program that includes March and December. 

Proponents say that adding these two months to the yearly schedule helps make these neighborhoods cleaner and cuts down on rodent food sources – both important considerations in these tightly packed parts of town. 

However, some say that more street sweeping is more hassle. It means there are two extra months every year that they need to worry about moving their car from the street or get towed. 

But like its neighbors, the Back Bay is also a densely packed residential neighborhood full of restaurants. Should it street sweeping in March and December as well? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
