Barnstable 4th of July Fireworks Postponed, Parade Canceled
The fireworks were postponed, but the parade had to be canceled because they aren't allowed until phase four of the state's reopening plan.

BARNSTABLE, MA — Town officials have postponed the annual Fourth of July fireworks and canceled the parade amid concerns over the coronavirus.
"In these unprecedented times, our first priority is the health and well-being of our community, therefore the town of Barnstable has postponed the Annual 4th of July Fireworks event to tentatively be held on the Saturday, September 5, 2020 of Labor Day Weekend," communications director Lynn Poyant said in a statement.
According to Gov. Charlie Baker's reopening plan, parades cannot occur until Massachusett has reached phase four of the reopening plan.
