Barnstable Police Investigate Hyannis Shooting

Police are asking the public's help with information on the shooting which left a man in serious condition.

HYANNIS, MA — The Barnstable Police Department is asking the public's help in finding information on a Friday shooting.

Police said in a social media post that on Friday, around 11:30 p.m., police responded to Dumont Drive in Hyannis on a call of a disturbance. They arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound.

The post says the man was taken to Cape Cod Hospital where he had surgery. He's in serious but stable condition, the release said.
