Barnstable School Holding Holiday Gift Card Drive

All donations from the Barnstable United Elementary School drive will benefit local families.

BARNSTABLE, MA — Barnstable United Elementary School is holding a gift card drive to help local families in need this holiday season.

Given the coronavirus pandemic, school officials said they found the easiest way to gather donations for the annual drive this year is via gift cars.

"This is an annual program through which we brighten up the holiday season by helping local families in need," school officials said in a Facebook post. "All of us are feeling economic stressors this year, but no donation is too small and anything we can collect would be greatly appreciated."
