PUBLIC STATEMENT: “BLM” (Black Lives Matter) Again Illegally Painted Over Beaty Campaign Sign

At some point in the early morning hours (Wednesday, July 22nd) someone again vandalized my large 4 ft. X 8 ft. political campaign sign located at the corner of Newtown Road and Route 28 in Cotuit (Cape Cod, MA) by painting “BLM” (standing for “Black Lives Matter”) across said sign (see attached photo).

The sign originally said: “Ron Beaty, County Commissioner.”

Mr. Ralph Baker, the property owner, also had signs painted over as well.

This time I am offering a $500.00 reward leading to the arrest, prosecution and conviction of the criminal in question.

We are eager to press criminal charges regarding this matter.

Thank you.
