Cape Cod 5 Banks Temporarily Close Lobbies In Hyannis, Yarmouth

Rising coronavirus cases in Barnstable and Yarmouth prompted the temporary closure of three Cape Cod 5 banks.

HYANNIS, MA — Cape Cod 5 has temporarily closed its lobbies at its banks in Centerville, Hyannis and Yarmouth amid rising coronavirus cases on the mid-Cape.

"Effective today, the lobbies will be closed to the public until further notice to help keep everyone safe," a bank spokesperson wrote on Cape Cod 5's website. "We invite you to visit our other banking center lobbies that remain open"

The announcement did not designate a return date to in-person banking. Drive-up and mobile banking options will remain available.
