Cape Cod Gets Last Minute Coronavirus Vaccine Clinic

BARNSTABLE, MA — Cape Cod health officials said they added a last minute coronavirus vaccine clinic at Cape Cod Community College. Officials said the clinic was added late because of some challenges transitioning to the state's new pre-registration system.

The clinic is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday. Barnstable County officials said the clinic will distribute the Pfizer vaccine, meaning a second appointment will be required. There will be 800 doses available.

Anyone over 16 who lives, works or goes to school in Massachusetts can be vaccinated. Registration begins at noon, Wednesday, April 21 and can be found here.

Important Registration Rules and Tips:

• Leave pets at home.
• There are no restrooms on site.
• Individuals arriving at vaccination sites must wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth.

These clinics are organized by Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment and are separate from clinics offered by Cape Cod Healthcare.
