Cape Cod Hosting Teacher-Only Vaccination Clinics
Cape Cod Healthcare CEO Michael Lauf said the clinics can support up to 700 doses per day if necessary.
HYANNIS, MA — Educators will soon get their own vaccination clinics reserved for them, Barnstable County and Cape Cod Healthcare officials announced Thursday.
Barnstable County's regional vaccination consortium will run three clinics at Cape Cod Community College on the next three Saturdays, specifically for k-12 teachers, support staff and early child care workers. The clinics will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Consortium officials surveyed superintendents for every public school district on Cape Cod and found 900 of the regions 6,000-plus educators still need access to an appointment.
